The delicious Daal Kachauris made from the round balls of refined flour and gram flour (Besan) stuffed with the filling of overnight soaked and baked Moong Daal (green gram) spiced up with basic spices, Heeng (asafoetida), Garam Masala (assortment of several spices) etc. and deep-fried is spicy snack. Served hot, it is relished with sweet and tangy tamarind and jaggery chutney and spicy chutney made using mint, wood apple (Kaith) and normal spices.
